Circumstances may come up where a Renter's account needs to be temporarily deactivated. This will prevent the renter from being able to log in and is often used if a renter's credit card is declined.

To deactivate a renter's account follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Dashboard, and click Customers.

  • Under Renters,  select or search the renter's name.

  • Under the Details tab, scroll down and click the Active slider button to deactivate the renter's account.

A Renter is not unassigned from their mailbox when their account is deactivated. This means the renter will still be charged for monthly fees.
