On your Dashboard, under Pickups, you will find two essential sections: Requested and Ready. These sections are designed to streamline the process of handling pick-up requests. Regardless, you will have the option to mark the mail item as picked up.
Requested Box
The Requested box on your dashboard provides a snapshot of the pick-up requests received from your customers. This feature is invaluable for operators as it allows them to prepare mail items ahead of the customer's pick-up visit. It's important to note that this information is accessible regardless of your pick-up timing settings and lead time, if configured.
Ready Box
In the Ready box, you can view the number of mail items that are prepared and ready for pickup. Click the number, click anywhere in the line item, scroll down to view the bigger picture of the mail and finally, press the blue button 'Mark as Picked Up' button.
Important Note:
If your Mail Pickup Timing is set as Pending Preparation, it's essential to manually inform your customers when their mail items are ready for pick-up. To do this, navigate to the Requested section on your Dashboard, select a mail item, and click the blue "Pickup Ready" button to alert the customer.
Enhancing Customer Communication:
We prioritize ensuring that customers have all the necessary information about their pick-up requests. Therefore, we automatically send an email notification immediately after a request is made. This email contains crucial details such as the pickup window and your business hours, empowering customers to plan their visit accordingly.
Efficiently managing pick-up requests contributes to a seamless experience for the customers. Stay organized, informed, and responsive by leveraging the features available in the Pickups section of your Dashboard.
