Our team at Anytime Mailbox tries to make everything as easy as possible for you, but there are some instances when automation doesn’t make sense.
One of those is mailbox maintenance. Since every operator is unique, our system allows you to customize your mailbox setup to fit your individual situation. But knowing how to do that effectively can be tricky.
Remember that you can create new mailboxes at any time. Click here for our easy-to-understand guide to mailbox creation.
Available, Reserved, and Assigned:
- Available mailboxes
- Only you can see Available mailboxes. They can be used by you to manually enter a renter to the platform, or you can mark them to be available for new renters to choose the mailbox online. See Reserved mailboxes below.
- Reserved mailboxes
- These are available boxes that can be picked by the renter while ordering a digital mailbox on our website.
- Assigned mailboxes
- Are any mailboxes that currently have an assigned renter, but I bet you figured that out already.
Key points to remember:
We actually recommend that you keep a minimum of 100 reserved mailboxes available at all times, so you can always be sure you’ll cover new renters if you suddenly get swamped with new sign-ups. Trust us, we’ve done the research.
There is no charge for reserving mailboxes, and you can reserve as many as you want, so you literally have nothing to lose - click here to learn how to reserve mailboxes.
Be aware of any renters who have cancelled their service or who have not been paying their bill. You can un-assign them by following these simple instructions, which will help you avoid any unnecessary over-charges or fees.
That’s easy enough, right? And taking five minutes out of your day to check over these few things on the regular will ultimately lead you to more revenue and fewer annoying refunds down the line.
