Issuing Refund on Stripe

Under rare circumstances, a renter will need a cash refund of the charges made to their credit card. This must be completed on the Stripe platform, since a credit on the Anytime Mailbox platform is not the same as a full refund.

To issue a refund on Stripe follow these steps:

  • Log in to your Stripe account on Stripe

  • Once logged in, click Payments on the side menu

  • Find the payment that needs to be refunded and select the ... button

  • Select Refund Payment from the dropdown

  • Select whether you are making a full or partial refund and select Refund

Refunds are only issued this way if your location uses its own Merchant Account for the virtual mailbox billing.
