Consolidated Forwarding is a feature to manage your renter's forwarding request. You can arrange shipment bundles and submit shipping quotes for your renter’s approval.
When the Consolidated Forwarding Beta feature is activated, you will see 3 new boxes in the Forwarding Section of your Dashboard (New, Pending and Approved) to hold the new Consolidated Shipping Request. The “Legacy” section holds forwarding requests from the old format.
Note: For Consolidated Forwarding you have to make sure everything is set up on your Carrier Services first based on what you offer before you start fulfilling forwarding requests.
To set up Carrier Services follow these steps:
On your Dashboard click Admin.
Select Mail and click on the Carrier Services tab.
Scroll down and click Manage (A pop up box will appear)
Note: Default carriers will depend on the selected country. To customize,
Click Scope a drop-down box will appear (Carrier for the United States, All Carriers and My Customer Carriers) If you don’t want to offer a certain carrier from the default setting, click Carrier and uncheck it from the list.
Note: All offered services by (DHL, FedEx, UPS, USPS) are already available in the system. If you have a specific Courier that is not listed in the system. You can select My Custom Carriers and contact us to update it in the system.
To start fulfilling new forwarding request follow these steps:
Log in to your Dashboard, under Forwards section click New.
It will take you to the Shipment Manager. This is where you can see the mail items to be forwarded.
Create Shipment Bundles, just drag and drop the Mail Items to the Shipment Bundle Box. To drag and drop mail items, hover your mouse over the burger icon and wait for the hand icon to appear.
Click Set Carrier and Service base on the Service Preference the renter had requested.
Add the Price and click Submit.
Once you are done setting up your shipment bundles. Click Submit for Approval and the renter will be notified.
For renter approved shipment quotes, it will show under the Approve section from your dashboard.
Click Approve, it will take you to the Shipment Manager.
Click on the mail items and Set Tracking Number.
Note: Once you enter the tracking details the Track Shipment button will route you to the carrier's website to track the package.
Click Complete and a pop-up box will appear, charging the renter of the shipping fee. We recommend that you charge the card immediately before sending the mail or packages. Click Submit and the renter will be notified.
This will go to their Forwarded folder where they can see the details of the shipment including the tracking details.
Note: Consolidated Forwarding quote turnaround time is:
When shipments are requested - 30 days.
When shipments are quoted - 3 days.
When shipments are approved and ready for fulfillment - 3 days
